Our Love Will Destroy The World - Beautiful Monolith Two 7"

Speaking of Birchville Cat Motel, last month Campbell Kneale - also the mastermind behind that other New Zealand outfit Black Boned Angel released a new 7" under his noise-alias Our Love Will Destroy The World. Campbell Kneale unleashes 2 terrifying sick new tracks pushing the boundaries of experimental music even further, and sounding more like Merzbow or Wolf Eyes than anything he's done before.

The "Beautiful Monolith Two" 7" comes in a limited edition of 500 copies, of 150 on blue and 350 copies on black vinyl. Order it from Second Layer and don't forget about that Bark Haze / Our Love Will Destroy The World split 7" I reported about some weeks ago.

An Albatross - London Live LP

Kitty Play records just released a limited tour only LP by An Albatross. This album is a live-recording from their show in 2008 in London's Astoria, and "captures the AA FAMILY at breakneck-psychedelic speed, belting out a veritable sonic asswhipping!" Those of you who have ever seen them live, know it's quite an experience, so this live album might actually be fun! An Albatross are an amazing noise band, highly recommended for fans of The Locust, Melt Banana, Lighning Bolt with a touch of Slayer and Napalm Death. That's right.

All LP's are 4-color hand screen printed and come in a limited edition of 500 copies on multicolored marble vinyl. These records are normally only available from An Albatross directly on tour, but if you get in touch with Kitty Play Records, you might still get your hands on one, and some of you lucky bastards might even be able to get one of the test-pressings for $20.

Nurse With Wound - Chance Meeting On A Dissecting Table Of A Sewing Machine And An Umbrella 2xLP

Now here's a mouthful. The re-issue of the "Chance Meeting On A Dissecting Table Of A Sewing Machine And An Umbrella" 2xLP by Nurse With Wound went online last week over at Dirter Records and it looks like this a real collector's treat. What we get here is the re-issue of their debut album from back in '79, and 30 years after its original release Nurse With Wound proves to still matter anno 2009. Like Dirter put it, this debut album is "the Sgt. Pepper of the avant garde" which seems quite fitting.

As for the vinyl? Well, this 2xLP comes in a beautiful gloss laminated sleeve, including printed inners with liner notes by Steven Stapleton. Plus there'a a bonus track on here called "Strain, Crack, Break" which comes for the first time on vinyl. To top things off, there's an etching on the D-side. I'd get it for the artwork alone. For only £20 UK, £25 Europe and £30 for the rest of the world, that's a pretty good deal over at Dirter.

Grief No Absolution - Eurostopodus Argus/Crypsis 10" + 7"

Grief No Absolution is a solo drone project from some remote place in Australia, who recently released two bundled vinyl releases: The "Crypsis" 7" and the "Eurostopodus Argus" 10". Though the music on these 2 formats is quite different, what you can expect is bleak metal, noise and drones. This is what happens when you put Wolf Eyes in the same room as Khanate with Nadja in the background. Scary stuff, so check out the track "Bewildering Predation" and if you hear what you like, order this limited 10"+7" (500 copies) and get a free download code as well, from Flingco Sound

Eric Copeland - Al Anon LP

Eric Copeland's second part in the "Alien In A Garbage Dump" series, called "Al Anon" is one crazy looking slab of vinyl that has recently come available from Catsup Plate. Eric Copeland is better known for his role in the noise collective known as Black Dice, so don't expect anything too accessible on this album.

"Al Anon" is limited to 500 copies with black and white screenprinted collage artwork by Copeland himself. Order it from Catsup Plate.

Oh yeah, I wisened up a bit. Every once in a while, you'll be able to listen to some tracks over here; like the one below. If I'm not too lazy that is. We'll see.

Boredoms - Super Roots 10 2xLP

The vinyl version of the already sold-out Boredoms record "Super Roots 10" is upon us! This is the 10th volume in their line of "Super Roots" records and the CD-version was sold out in days, so it's best to get in shape and get this 2xLP before is also becomes unavailable.

This new record features 6 tracks, actually 2 new tracks calld "Ant" and "Super Rooy", the remaining tracks are remixes by Altz, Dj Finger Hat and Lindstrøm. I havent heard "Super Roots 10" yet, but this vinyl version due soon on Thrill Jockey Records we without a doubt, will see Boredoms further explore their trip of weird, psychedelic, noisy, droney, krautrock infused craziness.

Bound to become out-of-print, hard-to-find, and on many many wishlists, make sure to get your copy from Rough Trade

AIDS Wolf - Dustin' Off The Sphynx 7"

AIDS Wolf, the Montreal noise outfit are back with a new EP called "Dustin' Off the Sphynx". These guys (and girl) make excellent noise-rock, definitely recommended if you're into the likes of Lightning Bolt, The Chinese Stars, An Albatross or one might even hear slight traces of Liars in there. So, this new 7" not only includes 4 new songs, but also comes with a download code to the 7 additional bonus tracks from the out-of-print "Pas Rapport" tour-only cassette. The Colored vinyl 7" EP comes in a screenprinted gatefold sleeve and will most likely blow your mind.

Dustin' Off The Sphynx" comes at a whopping $18,99 from Skin Graft Records directly, but it seems like they're only offering it as a bundle with the CD. The cheapeast version I found out there is over at Interpunk; for only $10,25.

Boyd Rice - Hatesville! LP & The Way I Feel LP

Not one, but two Boyd Rice albums are being finally rereleased. Boyd Rice can be called "eccentric" or "controversial" at best, I'm personally most familiar with his collaborations with Death In June and Blood Axis. Either way, he was one of the godfathers of the industrial/noise scene, starting with this unaccesible kind of music way back in the 70's. Loyal fans and followers will also remark that he was once a priest in Anton LaVey's Church Of Satan, he regularly visited Charles Manson in prison, etc.

So there you have it. Soleilmoon are now gearing up to release the albums "The Way I Feel" and 'Hatesville!", the latter even for the first time ever on vinyl. "The Way I Feel" is limited to 300 copies on red vinyl and 500 picture discs, whereas "Hatesville!" comes on black vinyl and limited to 1000 copies with a picture disc version limited to 500. For those who care, pre-order now before the September 14 release from Soleilmoon

Lightning Bolt - Earthly Delights 2xLP

"After scrapping two entire full lengths, LB is finally ready to unleash new music to the masses. Taking the lessons of extreme metal, blood-brother marrying them to expansive & explosive song form and applying it to Olympic training methods - "Earthly Delights" uses electric stimulus to shock smile technology to worldwide domes. This is what 2000 years of evolution & the invention of electric instrumentation introduced into the tank of hook force can do to you. This record has the sound of a ten piece band with a much tighter pay scale, matched with the sonics of military cartoons"
The release date is set at October 13. "Earthly Delights" comes on 2xLP, with an etching on the D side. Load Records isn't taking pre-orders yet, but you can already reserve a copy over at http://sakistore.net/
