Sub Pop are now taking pre-orders for the Grand Archives sophomore effort "Keep in Mind Frankenstein". Grand archive hail from Seattle, WA Brooke and was founded by Mat Brooke, who used to be in Band Of Horses before that. He enlisted some friends such as drummer Curtis Hall (the Jeunes), bassist Jeff Montano (the New Mexicans), and guitarist/keyboard player Ron Lewis (Ghost Stories). Grand Archives play bittersweet indiepop or as Pitchfork puts it "hayseed indie, bashful singer-songwriter comedowns, and sunny, orchestral pop."
