The new Massive Attack EP called "Splitting The Atom" is now up for pre-order. It took me some digging to find the ordering information, as the band only have a digital version available, but I'm glad I took the time to find the vinyl. "Splitting The Atom" is limited to 1000 handnumbered copies worldwide, comes on 180g vinyl and is housed in a bronze-foiled & printed sleeve.
I'm seeing Massive Attack live in a few weeks, and although it's a band that I almost never listen to, I am genuinely excited about seeing them again. But, since I didn't really stay up to date with them, I'm also quite curious about this new EP. I know what they sound like, but this time around they collaborated with some new folks such as Horace Andy, Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio), Guy Garvey (Elbow), and Damon Albarn Blur). Pre-order your copy of this limited 12" before the October 12th street date from The Vinyl Factory
