Arctic Monkeys - Cornerstone 10"

Domino have the pre-orders up for the "Cornerstone" 10" by the Arctic Monkeys. This is their second single off the "Humbug" album and gives us three new b-sides – “Catapult,” “Sketchead,” and “Fright Lined Dining Room”. Actually, this releases comes both on 10" format, and on 7" version but then you only get the 2 first songs.

That's all I have to say on that, so head over to Domino and get this 10" or 7", just know that most of their EP's are sold out and worth a dime or 2 by now.

God Help The Girl - Stills 10"

God Help The Girl, you know, Stuart Murdoch's side-project have a new EP out called "Stills". This band formed while recording for his other band Belle & Sebastian, featuring vocals by Catherine Ireton for the "White Collar Boy' single. Apparently, this collaboration went so well, that they started their proper band, and their debut album, obviously strongly reminding of Belle & Sebastian, is definitely an easy-listening gem, perfect for a chill Indian Summer evening.

This "Stills" 10" features 5 tracks from the recordings of their debut album, and was previously only available for subscribers of the album on the band's site. Limited to 500 copies, so get it from Rough Trade and get it fast, these will be gone in no time.
