Keelhaul - LP Reissues

Conspiracy Records are about to re-issue the first 3 Keelhaul albums just in time for their upcoming European Tour with Isis & Circle. If you read what I write over here, you know how much I adore Keelhaul, and in fact, for some strange reason I don't own their "Subject To Change Without Notice" album on vinyl, so now is the time!

The "bad" news is these re-issues are pressed on picture disc, so we'll have to wait and see/hear how good the audio quality will be, but I must admit, they look crazy. On the picture discs are pictures taken by Prutpuss for his alternative nude zine "Poupy Whoopy", and honestly, nipples and vinyl are always a golden combination. These LPs are limited to 300 copies each, and Conspiracy will only have 50 copies for sale directly, the rest of the LPs will be sold during their European tour, so wishlist from Conspiracy to reserve your copy - either seperately, or the 3xLP bundle.

Keelhaul – Keelhaul’s Triumphant Return To Obscurity 2xLP

Ah, how I heart Keelhaul. Ah, how good it is to have them back. After 4 years are so, Keelhaul are finally back with a new album on Hydrahead with the killer title "Keelhaul’s Triumphant Return To Obscurity". I for one can't wait to hear this album, and am kind of bummed out that I can't enjoy the online stream over at keelhaulstriumphantreturntoobscurity because I'm on the phone all day long (I post here while being kept 'on hold').

This new 2xLP will no doubt be another slab of fantastic stoner / sludge metal with a dirty Southern feel to it, even if the guys don't live anywhere close to the South - they have more in common with "Holy Terror Land" and have been spotted in bands such as Integrity and Ringworm to mention a few.

The official pre-order for this 2xLP which comes on black, white and translucent purple vinyl aren't up yet, but if you get in touch with Chel, he'll work his magic for you.
