The Notwist - Come In 7"

The Notwist are an indie band who rely heavily on electronics, and definitely one of the better German bands around. For their newest 7" they managed to attract none other than Grizzly Bear to do a remix of their new track "Come In". Pre-order this limited 7" from Norman.

Cant / Arthur Russell - Number One split 7"

Grizzly Bear = Chris Taylor = Cant. Nuff said. Released this tuesday is the "Number One" split 7" by Cant and Arhur Russel. Cant is side-project of Grizzly Bear, on the Taylor's own record label Terrible Records, and sounds pretty much like a lo-fi, even dreamier version of Grizzly Bear. You can check out the track 'Ghosts' over at Stereogum if you're curious. On the B-side comes a long lost posthumous folk track by Arthur Russell. ‘Come To Life’....‘Come To Life’was recorded by Russell in the late 70s, and should have but didn't appear on last year’s Rough Trade compilation "Love Is Overtaking Me". So, here we have it, on a split 7" limited to 1000 copies. Get yours from Terrible Records today.

Grizzly Bear - While You Wait for the Others 7"

"While You Wait for the Others" is a new EP by Grizzly Bear, featuring 2 tracks named "While You Wait for the Others" and "While You Wait for the Others". Seriously? Yeah, seriously, but it's not just the same track twice, as the B-side version features Michael McDonald of the late Doobie Brothers.
The pre-order was supposed to come out 3 days ago, so I'm not sure if it's already sold out or that we'll just have to wait a bit more to get the 7" version, because it's definitely available on iTunes already. So, check the Grizzly Bear site regularly.
