I've been looking forward to this release for a few months now, so join me and head over to pyramidswithnadja.com for a full stream of the upcoming Pyramids with Nadja LP. The CD version is already up for pre-order over at Hydrahead, no word on an LP release date yet. However, Ulver and Lustmord apparently remixed the first track on this album, "Into the Silent Waves," for a limited 12" to be released early 2010. Stay tuned for more info.

New Latitudes LP's - Gowns "Broken Bones" LP and Bohren & Der Club Of Gore "Mitleid Lady" LP update
The latest installment in the Latitudes series has just been released, being the "Broken Bones" LP by Gowns. I've seen their name around but have never heard anything by them before. Apparently Gowns are a folk/noise band consisting of Erika Anderson (Amps For Christ) and Ezra Buchla (The Mae Shi), which sounds promising. The "Broken Bones" comes on a limited edition of 1000 LP's in house bags, with 700 copies on black and 300 on green vinyl.
The Bohren & Der Club Of Gore Latitudes contribution called "Mitleid Lady" is now also available directly from Southern, with the same pressing as the Gowns LP. Order both from Southern

Bohren & Der Club Of Gore - Mitleid Lady LP
One of my favourite installments in the Latitudes series is finally becoming available on vinyl. I'm talking about "Mitleid Lady" by Germany's doom-jazz ensemble Bohren & Der Club Of GorePerhaps not their best work, but it's still Bohren, and I adore the Latitudes series, for the choice of bands, the artwork, and the whole concept behind the series, so "Mitleid Lady" will definitely get its place in my LP collection. No ordering information from Southern yet, so get one of the 500 copies from Norman
