Cannabis Corpse - The Weeding EP 12"

Ok, that does it: this is officially the Richmond, VI week over here at Hex. Third and definitely weirdest upcoming vinyl album from Richmond this week is the new 12" from Cannabis Corpse called "The Weeding EP" . Now, judging by the bandname, title and press release, smoking played a big part in recording this album, but that can't spoil the fun now can it? This is some fun oldschool deathmetal featuring members of Municipal Waste, Battlemaster and Parasytic, comes with crazy artwork by Andrei Bouzikov and this first pressing which is now up for pre-order is limited to 500 and comes on hot pink vinyl. Buy it from Tankcrimes

Municipal Waste - Massive Agressive LP

The Waste are back! Probably one of the most anticipated trash / hardcore releases of 2009, Municipal Waste's "Massive Agressive" is now available for pre-order over at Earache. To my understanding, there's a limited colored edition available, with this pressing run:
Purple - 100, Green - 100, Clear - 100, White - 100, Red - 100, Black -1000

You can specify which colour you'd like, but have to dish out an additional $5 if you want the purple version as it's only available via the label. However, I think you're forced to get a T-shirt with it as well, the whole pre-order package deal you know. All this sets you back $37.

There's also a Picture Disc version available, limited to 1500 copies which only costs you $15. Both editions have free shipping & handling, so you might as well let them throw in that extra shirt, because the soundquality on picdiscs is rarely worth a dime.
I honestly never really understood the fuzz about this band, except for the fact that they have Dave Witte in their ranks, but a lot of people do seem to care, so I guess the joke's on me. Either way, get yours at earache.com/
